<lj:music>The Sex Song - Tastiskank</lj:music>

So I posted this on wicked_fanfic and sort of forgot to xpost it here...so here's part 7 of this story, all previous disclaimers still apply, none of these characters are mine.

Galinda woke as the early morning light knifed through a gap in the curtains. She propped herself up on her elbow and watched her bed mate sleep. Elphaba looked peaceful when she slept, a half smirk gracing her lips as she breathed softly and evenly.

“You know, it’s rather unnerving to be watched while you’re sleeping,” Elphaba quipped without opening her eyes. Galinda laughed,

“Sorry Elphie…you just look so cute when you’re sleeping!”

“Me? Sharp, prickly, green, that’s what I look like; surely not cute!”

“Well pardon me Miss Elphaba but I think you look cute!” Elphaba rolled her eyes and began to mercilessly tickle Galinda, effectively stopping the banter.

“Stop Elpha- ahh- that tick- eeeee!” Galinda managed to squirm away from Elphaba and attempted to give her a look of haughty disdain from the other side of the bed, failing miserably when Elphaba’s previously silent laugh morphed into a full blown cackle. “Oh Elphie you’re too much fun!”

Elphaba smiled wistfully, “fun” was not a state she was used to attaining. “You’re pretty fun too, Galinda.” The bedside alarm began to chime, signalling the beginning of yet another day at Shiz University for the two young women.

“Oooh, but I don’t want to get up!” Galinda pouted, sounding rather like a petulant child. Elphaba smiled, rolled off the bed and silenced the alarm in one fluid movement.

“The sooner you get up, the sooner we can go back to bed!” Elphaba winked over her shoulder as she disappeared into the bathroom.

***********************************************************************

History class with Dr. Dillamond once again was filled with heated chatter about Animal rights and the seemingly disappearing Animal population of Oz. As usual, only Elphaba and Dr. Dillamond spoke, the rest of the class feeling either inadequate or superior or an odd combination of the two.

As Elphaba headed off to sorcery she was ambushed from behind and pulled into an empty classroom. She struggled violently, biting and scratching until her attacker was forced to release her.

“Lurline above Elphaba! What is your problem?!” Fiyero asked, cradling his injured hand and examining the already bruising tooth marks imprinted in his palm. Elphaba spun to face him, the fiery anger fading from her eyes slowly as she realized that it wasn’t Avaric who had attacked her.

“What the hell are you doing Fiyero?!”

“I just wanted to ask you what was going on with Galinda! She’s seemed…different somehow lately.”

“And why do you think I would know anything about what is troubling the perfectly popular Galinda?” Elphaba quickly veiled her expression to keep Fiyero from discovering that she knew something, well everything.

“Well you are her roommate…I though maybe she’d…I don’t know…confided in you?” Elphaba snorted in faked scorn at the suggestion.

“Well Master Fiyero, in case you hadn’t noticed, Galinda and I aren’t all that ‘chummy’. We room together and have a couple of the same classes, nothing more.”

“Alright, well if you overhear something will you please tell me?”

“Mmm…” Elphaba replied noncommittally, “You may want to get that hand checked out,” and she rushed out of the room.

***********************************************************************

Elphaba arrived just in time for sorcery, plopping unceremoniously down in the seat next to Galinda.

“Where have you been?” hissed Galinda, “I thought for sure you were going to be late!”

“I’ll tell you later,” Elphaba whispered back, sitting up straight as Madame Morrible swept into the room.

“Good afternoon, girls. I trust you’ve been practicing?”

“Yes Madame Morrible,” the girls answered in unison, simultaneously pulling out their wands.

“Well then Miss Galinda, I suppose it would be of no trouble for you to levitate this book?” Madame Morrible placed a thick green book on a high stool at the front of the room. Galinda rose and walked slowly to the front of the room, mentally preparing herself to float the book.

The blonde took her stance at the front of the room a few feet away from the stool, firmly planting her feet and lifting her wand. Elphaba found herself holding her breath, her fingers tightly gripping the arms of the chair. Galinda began to move her wand timidly, reciting words from memory. A short puff of pink smoke curled from the end of her wand but nothing else.

“Try again dear,” Madame Morrible rolled her eyes, not noticing the flash of anger in Galinda’s eyes at the patronizing tone. She readjusted her stance, placing her feet wider apart and lifted her wand again and moving it with more conviction. The pages of the book began to flutter and Elphaba sat forward in her seat, mentally encouraging Galinda. In a puff of pink smoke and sparkles the book lifted straight up from the stool before rocketing through the air directly at Madame Morrible’s head. The woman dodged out of the way at the last second and the book thumped against the chalkboard behind her before dropping gently to the ground as Galinda lowered her wand.

“I guess I need to practice my control,” Galinda turned her back to the woman and smirked at Elphaba who was trying desperately not to laugh out loud.

“That is enough for today girls,” Madame Morrible barked, effectively dismissing her pupils.

“But Madame I didn’t get to show you my levitation! Here let me show you with my pocket knife…” Elphaba reached into the folds of her skirt.

“I said enough!” Madame Morrible shrieked, a look of sheer terror crossing her face.

***********************************************************************

The girls returned to their dorm, collapsing in fits of laughter as soon as the door was shut behind them.

“Oh Elphie did you see her face?! I thought for sure she was going to drop dead on the spot!” Galinda squealed.

“I cannot believe you launched that book at her head and then gently lowered it to the ground! You’re more evil than I thought!” Elphaba told her.

“Yes well you’re rubbing off on me I suspect…” Galinda said, effectively halting all laughter. The girls looked at each other, both processing the unintentionally implied act before resuming their laughter.

xposted to chenzel_love

The women stumbled from the bar, neither quite sure who was holding up the other but fairly certain that if they let go they’d both be in a heap on the sidewalk. They tottered to the curb, Idina sticking her hand out to flag down a cab, Kristin clinging to her other arm. Finally a cab pulled alongside them and they tumbled into the backseat.

"The beach!" Idina proclaimed to the driver, "And step on it!"

"The beach!" Kristin squealed, falling into Idina’s lap as the driver took a sharp left. They broke into fits of giggles as Kristin struggled to right herself, finally managing to sit upright only to slide back into Idina as they turned again. Twenty minutes of sliding around in the back of the cab interspersed with fits of manic giggling later the cab stopped in a beach parking lot. Idina shoved some money towards the driver, pushing Kristin out of the cab.

The blonde stood and stumbled into the sand, kicking off her heels and dropping her purse before weaving unsteadily towards the water. Idina slid off her shoes near Kristin’s and called out,

"Kristinnn! No time for swimming!" the brunette stood fidgeting impatiently, digging her toes into the sand as Kristin approached the water’s edge. Kristin looked back at Idina over her shoulder, hiking up her skirt and sprinting the last few feet into the surf. She screamed, the icy water biting her calves and she waded out as fast as she could.

"Iss cold Dee!" She called up the beach, Idina walking towards her so they met halfway between the water and the road.

"It’s May you psycho!" Idina snarked, "I swear to God some of that Glinda-glitter is imbedded in your brain," she muttered. Kristin slung her arms around Idina’s neck,

"Yeah well some of that Elphie-greeness is imbedded in your brain." Idina slid her arms around Kristin’s waist and lifted her from the ground, Kristin’s legs wrapping around her just as they had on Kristin’s last night in Wicked.

Except on Kristin’s last night, they weren’t drunk out of their minds, and so this time, Idina stumbled backwards and fell into the sand, sending both women into peals of laughter. When the laughter subsided Kristin found herself sitting on Idina’s abdomen,

"Oh....hmmm..." she muttered, drumming her fingers on Idina’s collarbone.

"What?" Idina asked, rising up on her elbows.

"Looks like I get to be in charge," Kristin mused, pushing Idina back and kissing her softly. "I’ve missed you Dee."

"I hate the West Wing," Idina confessed.

"Why?" Kristin asked, her drunkenness making it impossible to hide the hurt in her voice.

"They stole you," Idina murmured. Kristin rolled off of Idina, pillowing her head on Idina’s shoulder.

"I’m sorry." Idina shrugged, Kristin’s head moving with her arm.

"So...About that hot lesbian sex on the beach?" Idina inquired, causing Kristin to burst into giggles yet again. The laughter was soon swallowed as Idina locked her lips over Kristin’s, one hand meandering up Kristin’s thigh, beneath her skirt. Kristin tilted her head back as Idina started kissing down her neck,

"Dee, you really know how to ruin a sensitive moment," Idina’s tongue snaked out and traced the shell of Kristin’s ear.

"Complaining?" her breath was hot against Kristin’s cheek.

"Nope," Kristin breathed, shifting her hips so Idina’s hand crept higher.

"Hmm impatient much Chenoweth?" Idina murmured against Kristin’s neck.

"It’s the hot lesbian sex on the beach...does somethin’ to me," Kristin retorted, shifting again. Idina could hear Kristin’s southern accent slipping into her voice and it sent chills up her spine, there was something about that drawl that made her absolutely voracious. Idina went back to kissing Kristin’s neck and shoulders, collapsing onto the smaller woman when Kristin started singing at the top of her lungs, "DON’ GO TO THA BEACH IN A COWBOY HAT AN’ JEEEEAAANS!"

"Oh God," Idina groaned, "I knew that would come back to haunt me." Kristin giggled,

"Aww Dee it was cute!" She ran her fingers through Idina’s hair.

"How’d you hear it anyways?" Idina’s voice was muffled because her face was buried in the crook of Kristin’s neck.

"Googled it!" the blonde squealed, quite proud of her computer prowess. Idina had been so distracted by Kristin’s rendition of her freestyle she hadn’t noticed the blondes hands slowly making their way up her skirt until her panties were yanked down around her knees. "On yer back, birthday girl," Kristin drawled, waiting until Idina acquiesced before rising to her knees. Kristin pulled off Idina’s underwear and dropped it into the sand and started dragging her nails up Idina’s inner thighs. "Y’know, at the bar...you said you didn’ want anymore orgasms," her fingers stopped moving just before the warmth at the apex of Idina’s thighs.

"Fuck Kris..." Idina groaned, trying to push her hips into Kristin’s hand.

"Alright darlin’," Kristin leaned down and whispered into Idina’s ear, "If that’s what you want..." For a moment Kristin just kissed Idina’s face, her hands roaming nowhere in particular until she took Idina by surprise, driving two fingers in. Idina’s back arched from the sand and she cried out, hips struggling to keep up with Kristin’s forceful thrusts. The sand was dry so when she tried to dig her heels in for leverage her legs slid out from beneath her. She’d never let go like this before; not with Taye, not with Kristin, not with anyone. Kristin’s mouth was over hers, muffling the curses flying from her lips, her hand not slowing in the least. Idina could feel herself getting closer, her muscles tightening, her body shuddering when Kristin ground the heel of her palm into her clit. Kristin relinquished her lips long enough to whisper, "Happy birthday," and Idina fell, calling out into the night, her cries echoing across the water.

"Best birthday present ever," Idina gasped, pulling Kristin down for a kiss.

Elphaba’s hands moved deftly as she pushed the dress down to Galinda’s waist, still locked at the lips with her, long graceful fingers mapping out the smooth skin of Galinda’s back. Galinda rolled onto her back, pulling Elphaba with her giving her better access to the buttons on the deep blue dress. Her tiny fingers fumbled, faltering when Elphaba started pressing wet, open mouth kisses across her collar bone.

"You’re – ooh – distracting me," Galinda stuttered.

"Want me to stop?" Elphaba asked, lifting her head just enough to look into the blue eyes.

"Hell no," Galinda breathed. Elphaba giggled and dropped her mouth back to the pale skin,

"Then shut up and enjoy." Galinda laughed, arching her back into Elphaba’s touch as the kisses migrated lower. Elphaba smiled evilly and slid down the bed, hooking her fingers into Galinda’s dress and removing it with one swift tug, leaving Galinda clad in barely there pale pink lingerie. Elphaba pressed a kiss to her abdomen, "Sexy," she motioned to Galinda’s current state of dress.

"I think it’d look better on the floor," Galinda whispered, eyes widening when she realized what she’d said. Elphaba chuckled,

"Only one way to find out," Elphaba grinned wickedly as her fingers traced the swell of Galinda’s breasts above the pink satin. Galinda moaned and arched higher, giving Elphaba room to sneak her free hand under and attemot unfasten the bra. Galinda gasped when she felt the material pull tight as Elphaba fumbled blindly for the clasp, her arms immediately going to cover herself. "You okay?" Elphaba asked worriedly. Galinda nodded slowly, "Are you sure?" Elphaba pressed. Galinda reached up and grabbed behind Elphaba’s neck, pulling her down so their lips were just centimetres apart.

"Yes," she rasped before slamming their lips together again. One of Elphaba’s hands strayed downwards, fingers hooking into the waistband of Galinda’s panties. Blue eyes flew open, boring into emerald as her hips lifted from the bed of their own accord, her head lolling to one side. "Oh fuhhhh..." was all the blonde could manage as Elphaba’s fingers grazed her thighs deciding, for the moment, to leave Galinda clad in her underwear. Elphaba pulled away, stroking Galinda’s cheek to calm the girl’s fears.

Elphaba grinned, looking back and appraising Galinda’s body with a smile, "Quite a view." Galinda blushed deeply, once again fumbling with the buttons on Elphaba’s dress. After much struggling, grunts and frustrated curses Galinda finally managed to open the final button of the blue dress, crying out triumphantly when it fell away from Elphaba’s torso.

"You could have helped you know," Galinda pouted.

"Oh but you looked like you were having so much fun!" Elphaba replied, sliding off the bed and letting the dress pool at her feet. Galinda gasped slightly when the pale light of the moon caressed the emerald skin, giving it an ethereal glow. Immediately Elphaba covered herself with her arms, eyes fastidiously studying the floor beneath her feet. It wasn’t until Galinda reached out and touched her shoulder that she realized the girl had come closer, kneeling on the edge of the bed.

"Don’t be shy Elphie," Galinda whispered, taking the emerald hands in hers and pulling them away to expose the green body. She bit her lip, electric sensations pooling in her stomach as the green girl was exposed to her for the first time. A slight whimper escaped Galinda’s lips and she pulled Elphaba to her, crushing their lips together, shivering when one of Elphaba’s hands strayed to cup her ass. The smaller girl pushed her body against her lover, hips grinding of their own accord. Somehow Elphaba managed to manoeuver herself back onto the bed without breaking the ever deepening kiss. With a gentle nudge she sent Galinda sprawling backwards with a giggle, her blonde curls fanning about her head in a perfect golden halo. Elphaba laid down atop the smaller girl, supporting her weight with her forearms and sliding a thigh between Galinda’s legs. Hesitantly Galinda began to rock her hips, pushing herself down into Elphaba’s thigh, moaning as Elphaba began to move against her. Almost as quickly as it had begun, Galinda stopped moving, delicate crimson staining her cheeks, "Elphie..." she said quietly.

"What sweetheart?" Galinda bit her lip, not realizing that simple gesture nearly made her lover swoon every time.

"It feels...wet...down...uh...you know...down there," the scarlet deepened when Elphaba laughed softly.

"It’s supposed to dearest," Elphaba told her.

"It is?" Galinda asked incredulously, "How do you know? Have you done..." Elphaba cut her off with a sarcastic laugh.

"Seriously? You honestly...oh Lurline!" Elphaba laughed harder, fighting for composure when she saw the hurt in Galinda’s eyes. "Oh sweetheart I’m sorry. It’s just...I can’t believe you thought anyone ever wanted me before you came along."

"Oh..." Galinda said quietly, "But then how do you..."

"Darling you’d be amazed what a young child picks up squelching about Quadling country," Elphaba answered. Galinda’s soft pink mouth formed an "O" feeling rather inadequate in comparison to Elphaba’s worldly childhood. Elphaba noticed the discomfort in the blue eyes and softly kissed her, "It’s okay sweetheart, we’ll learn together." Galinda smiled, resuming her previous movements, soft sighs escaping her lips occasionally. After a few moments of soft kisses and gentle caresses, Elphaba sat up and removed her bra, hoping to entice Galinda to do the same. After the slightest hesitation Galinda obliged Elphaba and went further by slipping the pink panties down her legs and dropping them out the side of the bed. Elphaba traced Galinda’s collar bones with her index finger before slowly travelling down the valley between her breasts before gingerly touching the coarse curls at the apex of her thighs.

"Sweet Oz..." Galinda gasped, her hips involuntarily thrusting into Elphaba’s hand. Tentatively a finger slid between the folds, retreating all too soon for Galinda’s liking and she voiced her discontent as a groan, hips moving in search of the emerald green fingers. "Please," Galinda moaned, aching to be touched. She nearly screamed when she felt another teasing brush of fingers, bucking her hips to illustrate what she couldn’t quite articulate.

"I don’t know how to do this..."Elphaba whispered.

"Just touch me," Galinda begged. Slowly Elphaba leaned in, kissing Galinda’s neck and running her hands lightly down her arms. When she reached Galinda’s hands she lifted them and placed the smaller arms around her neck. Elphaba released her hands, sliding her palms down Galinda’s sides and then back up her front, tentatively kneading the voluptuous breasts. "Mmmmm," Galinda’s head fell back, giving Elphaba better access to her neck. Galinda steadied herself, gripping one of Elphaba’s shoulders, her other hand sliding between Elphaba’s thighs, pressing against the fabric covered heat. Elphaba gasped, eyes flying open as Galinda moved her hand experimentally. She froze, her body reacting to the fingers between her legs but unable to consciously move. Galinda stopped, "Are you okay Elphie?" she whispered, unconsciously holding her breath in anticipation of the response.

"Yes..." came the belated reply, Elphaba growing accustomed to being vulnerable around Galinda. The smaller girl removed her hand from between the emerald thighs, not wholly convinced. Galinda leaned back against the headboard, waiting for Elphaba to make the next move. Elphaba took a deep breath, pausing for what felt like an eternity before removing the final piece of clothing that separated them. Galinda moved forward, hesitantly sliding her hands up Elphaba’s thighs, fingers skittering nervously as she approached the warmth before mimicking Elphaba’s previous teasing touches. Elphaba pushed gently on Galinda’s shoulders, pressing her back against the headboard before pushing a bruising kiss onto the pink lips. Galinda whimpered when her lover pulled away, biting her lip to keep from crying out as warm, wet kisses were dropped on her collar bone before Elphaba’s tongue ran tantalizingly down her sternum. Without warning a cool hand was thrust between her thighs, fingers moving awkwardly in the wetness they found there.

"Good gracious..." Galinda gasped, grinding into the hand. "I- oh please...I– Elpha...oh" she had no idea what she was begging for or, more accurately, stuttering over. Elphaba gently thrust her index finger into Galinda’s core, flinching when the girl screamed in a mix of pleasure and pain. She stopped, afraid she had hurt the smaller girl and, for a moment, neither moved.

"Are you okay?" Elphaba whispered, aroused by the idea that she was making love to her beautiful roommate but frightened by the idea she’d hurt her. Slowly she lifted her head to look at Galinda, her heart sinking when she saw tears dripping from behind shut eyelids. Immediately she removed her hand, cradling Galinda in her arms, apologizing profusely, "I’m so sorry. I should have waited. Oh please forgive me."

"No Elphie...it’s not...I just...I can’t stop...he’s still with me," the small girl trembled in Elphaba’s arms as she tried to explain her reaction.

"Oh darling I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have pushed you so fast," Elphaba felt terrible for causing Galinda so much pain.

"But Elphie...I want this– I need this," Galinda assured her, lying back comfortably on the bed.

"Are you absolutely sure?" Elphaba asked, she too was trembling. Slowly Galinda nodded, relaxing back into the pillows as Elphaba showered her body with kisses. Eventually Elphaba ended up lying between Galinda’s legs, her head resting on her pale left thigh. "This is what you want?" she confirmed, fingers absently stroking up Galinda’s leg, rendering her temporarily incapable of speech. Once she found her voice she gasped out a,

"Yes," her breath coming in short pants. Elphaba moved onto her knees, bending to place a kiss on Galinda’s abdomen before moving lower, kissing up her inner thighs. Her tongue poked out tentatively, sliding along her lover, pressing strongly against the bundle of nerves Elphaba hoped would arouse Galinda. Upon hearing Galinda’s passionate moan she thanked Lurline for her voracious studying of anatomy texts before repeating her previous motion. Galinda’s back arched, pushing her pelvis into Elphaba’s face and she struggled only momentarily when Elphaba held her still, losing all will to resist when Elphaba sucked gently on her clit. "Elphie!" she squeaked, hips bucking up as far as Elphaba would let them. Elphaba removed her mouth, licking up the wetness that had dripped down Galinda’s thighs. The smaller girl squirmed, trying in vain to coerce Elphaba’s mouth back to her centre, her legs feeling like jelly when Elphaba lifted them to rest over her shoulders.

"More," the girl gasped, screeching in surprise when Elphaba’s mouth found her centre again with no trace of hesitation. "Oh Lurline," she moaned, balling her fists into the pillow below her head. "Harder," she gasped, surprised at her own need but too distracted to care how unladylike she may sound. The gasps, pants and moans emanating from her lips would normally have caused her to blush but when Elphaba slid two fingers back in all coherent thought was expelled from Galinda’s mind. Incoherent babbling emitted from between Galinda’s pink lips as Elphaba fucked her slowly, opening her eyes to Galinda’s head tossing back and forth on the pillow, her knuckles white from clenching. Elphaba felt Galinda tensing and so she sucked the girl’s clit back into her mouth, biting down softly and curling her fingers to push Galinda over the edge. Galinda pulled the pillow over her mouth just in time to muffle her own scream as she came crashing down, spasming around Elphaba’s fingers, her entire body shuddering with the force of her climax.

Elphaba moved to hold Galinda as she came down, her fingers still inside her lover, enjoying the feel of the girl’ muscles contracting and releasing around her. Once Galinda had calmed Elphaba slid her fingers out, licking them clean and smirking when Galinda’s eyes glazed over.

"That was so..." Galinda couldn’t come up with an adjective. Elphaba smiled and pushed damp blonde curls out of Galinda’s face, allowing the girl to cuddle up against her.

"Sleep my pretty," Elphaba whispered as they both succumbed to the pull of sleep.

    <lj:music>Life of the Party -- Idina Menzel</lj:music>

So I've seen a lot of drunk!Kristin, I've seen a little drunk!Idina but, ladies and gentlemen(?) I present to you all:
*drunk!Kristin&Idina*

Title: Happy Birthday
By: Ozdust_Princess
Part: 1/2
Disclaimer: They're real people, obviously I don't own them.
Summary: I don't know where this came from...it just kind of happened. It's set on Idina's birthday (in the future...so like next month). Kristin flies in from LA to celebrate with Idina...I apologize now for the cliffhanger-- I always do that, I think I have a sadistic streak, but that's another story...

"KRISTIN!" Idina screamed, throwing her arms around the petite blonde. Kristin laughed,

"Hi Dee!" She hugged the taller girl back, rising onto her toes to plant a quick peck on Idina’s lips, oblivious to the jealousy that flashed in Taye’s eyes at the friendly contact.

"I can’t believe you came!" Idina squealed, pulling Kristin to a table where they could talk.

"I couldn’t very well miss your birthday now could I?" Kristin smiled, flagging down a waitress to order birthday drinks for Idina. "Two blow-jobs," Idina’s eyes widened and Kristin blushed, "And two screaming orgasms."

"Kristi Dawn Chenoweth!" Idina exclaimed as the waitress walked away, "LA’s corrupted my good little southern Baptist!" Kristin laughed again, the sound filling Idina with a warmth she’d been missing for a long time. The waitress returned with their drinks, Kristin waving Idina’s money away when she tried to pay.

"It’s your birthday Dee...a beautiful woman never pays for drinks on her birthday," Kristin gave her a secretive smile and pushed a shot towards Idina. Idina eyed it curiously before reaching for it, "Uh uh," Kristing scolded, swatting her hands away, "No hands."

"WHAT?" Idina exclaimed. Kristin grinned and lowered her head over the glass, pushing her hair behind her ears and waiting until Idina did the same. She opened her mouth and picked up the shot glass with her lips, tossing her head back and swallowing the liquid. She took the glass from her mouth and pushed one of the cocktails over to Idina. Kristin lifted her glass and tipped it towards Idina,

"Happy birthday darling," the crystal clinked and they each took a drink. Taye chose their moment of silent reminiscence to bring over a crowd of well wishers, sweeping Idina away for twenty minutes until she broke free and returned to Kristin. The tiny blonde was swinging her legs over the edge of the bench one shoe dangling dangerously from her toes and half of her cocktail gone.

"Sorry," Idina felt terrible, Kristin had flown across the country for her birthday and she left her sitting alone, nursing a drink.

"Don’t apologize," Kristin told her, "Catch up," she tilted her head to indicate Idina’s relatively full drink. The brunette grinned and downed half the liquid in one go, much to Kristin’s amusement. Quickly the drinks disappeared and Kristin signalled for the waitress again.

"Oh God," Idina groaned, "No more blow-jobs...or orgasms!" Her head was already spinning.

"Alright, alright," Kristin agreed. "Two Sex with an Alligator shots," Idina groaned again, "And two Sex on the Beach."

"Seriously, has LA turned you into bad-girl?"

"No, Dee. That was you," Kristin smirked and paid for the drinks. Idina stuck her tongue out, "Mature," Kristin told her, sliding a shot across the table.

"Can I use my hands for this one?" Idina asked, eyebrow arching in question.

"I suppose so," Kristin said, "On three?" Idina nodded, "THREE!" Idina jolted and slung back the shot with Kristin.

"What the hell happened to one and two?" Idina asked, wrinkling her nose as the shot burned its way down.

"I lost them on the way here," Kristin giggled, the alcohol beginning to get to her. She pushed a cocktail towards Idina, sloshing some of the liquid over. She sucked it off her fingers before picking up her own glass and taking a long drink, not noticing how Idina’s eyes glazed over at the sight of Kristin sucking on her fingers. "What?" she asked when she caught Idina staring.

"Oh! Nothin’..." Idina lied chugging down three quarters of her drink. As the second round of drinks all but disappeared Idina waved down the waitress, nearly toppling out of the booth as she did so.

"I gotta good one!" Kristin announced, "Hot Lesbian Sex!" she exclaimed, "Two of ‘em!"

"An’ summore Sex onna Beash!" Idina chimed in, cheeks burning from a combination of alcohol and Kristin’s drink order. Taye appeared at the table,

"Hey Dina, what do you say we get you home?" he took her arm gently and tried to guide her from the booth.

"No! Krissin flew in alla way from LA for my birthday and we’re damn well gonna cebrelate it!" she jerked her arm away, Taye sighed.

"Alright, fine. I’m going home," he leaned in and kissed her. Kristin scrunched her nose at the display of affection, putting on a fake smile and waving cheerfully to Taye as he exited. The waitress dropped the drinks on the table,

"Hot Lesbian Sex," Idina’s eyes flashed with desire, "And Sex on the Beach." Kristin paid and divided the drinks.

"On three?" Kristin asked again.

"Wait! Iss on fire..." Idina replied. Kristin giggled,

"Thass where the ‘hot’ part comes from silly!"

"Down catcher hair on fire!" Idina laughed, recalling Kristin’s Macy’s Day Parade incident, now it was Kristin’s turn to stick her tongue out. She blew out the flame and waited for Kristin to do the same before yelling, "THREE!" They swallowed the shots, following with cool gulps of their cocktails.

"Dee..." Kristin whispered conspiratorially, "We juss had lesbian sex on the beach!" Idina snorted,

"Not yet we haven’t!" The laughter stopped, years of repressed lust flooding to the surface and the women stared into their drinks.

"Dina..." Kristin’s voice was husky, whether from the alcohol or lust Idina couldn’t tell.

"Yeah?" Idina’s head snapped up, her vision wavering as the alcohol flooded her head.

"Where’s the nearest beach?"

Frank Baum and are used in the context of the Broadway musical “Wicked” with possible allusions to Gregory Maguire’s “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West”.

****A/N: I would like to apologize to pinksummerrain for accidentally using a bit of her (amazing) chenzel story in this fic. I've re-written it and I hope she forgives me!****

Elphaba lay rigidly on the bed, Love?, she thought, Certainly Galinda must have been hallucinating or babbling or – she couldn’t think of a good excuse. She flinched when Galinda cuddled closer, eyes trained on the ceiling as she tried to comprehend that Galinda had just said she loved her.

Galinda woke from her slumber about an hour later, sitting up quickly when she realized she was alone in her bed. She searched the room, willing her eyes to adjust to the darkness. She glimpsed the flame of a candle by the cooling fireplace, vaguely illuminating her roommates profile.

“Elphie?” she said quietly, noting the serious, brooding look on the green girls face. Elphaba did not stir, not because she hadn’t heard the girl, but because she was afraid of what would come out if she opened her mouth. “Elphie is everything okay?” Slowly Elphaba shook her head, still refusing to speak to or look at Galinda. Galinda climbed from the bed, wincing as her bare feet hit the cool floor, and walked to where Elphaba sat. She knelt in front of her friend, taking Elphaba’s hands in hers, waiting until the other girl met her gaze. “What’s wrong Elphie?” Galinda asked, her thumb absently rubbing circles on the back of an emerald hand.

“I – you...” Elphaba sighed, frustrated and looked away from Galinda. A small hand reached up to touch her cheek and gently turned her face back.

“It’s okay Elphie, you can tell me,” Galinda assured her, pushing the raven locks out of Elphaba’s face so she could look her in the eye. In a voice that was almost inaudible Elphaba said,

“You said you loved me,” her head drooped and small tear dripped onto Galinda’s hand. Carefully Galinda wiped the tears away from Elphaba’s eyes, knowing what would happen if they fell.

“I do love you Elphie! You’re the best friend I’ve ever had...You’re the only one who’s ever seen me as more than just a ditsy blonde princess.” Galinda pulled Elphaba into a hug.

“Nobody’s ever said they loved me...” Elphaba whispered into Galinda’s hair.

“Oh don’t be silly Elphie! I’m sure your parents and sister have said they love you hundreds of times!” Galinda pulled away and smiled, her grin dissipating when she saw the pained expression on Elphaba’s face.

“Not once Galinda,” Elphaba’s voice sounded small and defeated. “They never said they loved me, frankly I don’t think they do.”

“Oh Elphaba,” Galinda whispered, pulling the girl to her again, “I’m so sorry– I didn’t mean to...I shouldn’t have,” Galinda let out a frustrated groan, mentally pulling her foot from her mouth.

“It’s okay...you didn’t know,” Elphaba told her, pulling Galinda onto her lap and cuddling with her. For a few fleeting moments the world dissolved, all that remained was Galinda and her comforting embrace, but all too soon Elphaba snapped back to reality as her candle burned out. Galinda slid from her lap and extended her hand to Elphaba,

“C’mon, lets go back to bed.” Elphaba followed Galinda to her bed, hesitating a moment, wondering if she should go to her own bed but Galinda slid over and motioned for her to lie down. Slowly she complied, allowing herself, just once, to get lost in the comfort of another.

******************************************************************************

After twenty minutes of lying silently together Elphaba spoke, “Thank you.” Galinda smiled and curled closer,

“You’re welcome Elphie.” She tilted her head and kissed the green girl tentatively, shivering when Elphaba’s hands tangled in her hair, holding her close. As the kiss became more intense Galinda felt her chest tighten– bothersome fear outweighing needy arousal– and she pulled away. “I’m sorry Elphie...I can’t...not yet,” Galinda focussed on a loose thread on her bedspread, toying with it while she waited for Elphaba’s response. Elphaba kissed her forehead,

“It’s okay Glin,” she whispered, content to just be close to the other girl. They remained silent for a short time before Galinda spoke again,

“I really am sorry Elphie,” she whispered, eyes downcast once again. She didn’t fight it when Elphaba lifted her chin, dropping a chaste kiss on the corner of her mouth.

“I think I love you...” Elphaba whispered, something inside her swelled, a new appreciation for the blonde girl filling her with a sense of warmth and belonging. Galinda looked up at her, surprised to hear the words coming from the green girl.

“Seriously?” Elphaba chuckled somewhat incredulously, surprised she’d actually said it aloud.

“I suppose I do,” she smiled at the other girl. “Oof,” was all she could manage when Galinda launched her tiny self into Elphaba’s chest, knocking them both off balance and nearly off the bed. “Glin, darling, I don’t think your bed is quite big enough for roughhousing.”

“Shut up Elphie, you’re ruining the mood,” came Galinda’s muffled reply. Elphaba laughed and wrapped her arms around Galinda,

“Night my princess.”

“Night Elphie.”
*****************************************************************************

The dawn broke on another week at Shiz and, for the most part, it passed as uneventfully as any other. Elphaba and Galinda grew closer, while Galinda grew further away from her former cohorts, Pfannee and ShenShen.

It was early Friday evening when Galinda came, as Elphaba described it, “bubbling” into the room, full of some news she was just bursting to share with her roommate.

“Elphie!” she cried, flouncing daintily into a chair next to Elphaba, “Guess what?!” Elphaba couldn’t help but smile at the girls infectious giddiness as she shut the book on her lap.

“What?”

“I signed us up to go on a pub crawl!” she grinned, giggling at Elphaba’s confused expression.

“You signed us up to go on a what?” Elphaba asked, an eyebrow arching nearly to her hairline, sending Galinda into further spastic giggles.

“A pub crawl Elphie!” she said again, “We go to a bunch of pubs and bars with a big group of people...it’ll be fun!”

“What in Oz made you think that I would want to go on something like that?!” Elphaba screeched.

“Oh Elphaba don’t be such a party pooper,” Galinda told her, already sifting through her copious wardrobe for a suitable dress.

“Galinda I have to study...” Elphaba started.

“This isn’t open for discussion Elphie,” Galinda’s voice held an edge that made Elphaba think twice about complaining further. Galinda approached the chair Elphaba was still seated in, dresses scattered in her wake. She perched primly on the arm of the chair, pausing a moment before she spoke. “I need...I need to move on Elphie...I can’t spend the rest of my life terrified of the world.” Elphaba reached up and pulled the smaller girl into her lap,

“I’m sorry darling,” she kissed her temple, “I’ll go.” Galinda smiled and snuggled closer to her roommate, giving herself a few moments to relax and feel safe in Elphaba’s embrace.

******************************************************************************

A scant hour later the two girls walked from their room, dressed to the nines, giddy smiles gracing both their faces. They strolled arm in arm to the first bar, meeting up with their fellow students who had also signed up. Galinda immediately dragged Elphaba to a table with Pfannee and ShenShen, frowning when she noticed how tense her roommate was.

“Elphaba would you please relax?” she scolded gently, pushing Elphaba into a chair. The green girl bit her lip and nodded, allowing Galinda to order her a drink from the waitress.

Three bars and twice as many drinks later Elphaba was quite relaxed and had even been coaxed onto the dance floor by Galinda. They swayed in time with the music, oblivious to the other dancers until a particular Shiz student made an appearance. Galinda stopped moving when she spotted Avaric over Elphaba’s shoulder, tiny tremors racing through her. Quickly, without missing a beat of music, Elphaba looked at Avaric and then took Galinda’s hands in hers, forcing her to dance. She leaned in,

“You can do this Glin,” Elphaba whispered into her ear, keeping the smaller girl as calm as she could. Somehow she managed to turn them so she could keep a sharp watch on Avaric, her hands never releasing Galinda’s.

“I need another drink,” Galinda shouted above the music, pulling Elphaba towards the bar. Galinda downed two shots of some ghastly pink liquid in quick succession, waiting until Elphaba did the same before weaving unsteadily back to the dance floor. The alcohol seemed to have gone straight to both the girls heads and the rest of the bar disappeared as they danced closer and closer together. Avaric had disappeared during their time at the bar and Galinda immediately relaxed when she could no longer see him...of course the alcohol probably helped.

No words were spoken as the song ended, a firey look passed between the two girls and they staggered out the door. Elphaba was pretty much holding Galinda up as they wove unsteadily towards Shiz, fits of manic laughter erupting every now and then for seemingly no reason. They stumbled drunkenly down the street, ignoring the looks they got from the few people still out in the wee hours of the morning, sobering almost immediately when Avaric appeared from an alley.

“Evening girls,” he said, a menacing edge to his voice. Elphaba’s eyes narrowed and Galinda clung to her roommate.

“Move,” was the only word spoken before Avaric collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain. Elphaba pulled Galinda around him, nearly falling when Avaric grabbed her ankle and hissed,

“This isn’t over.” Elphaba glanced around quickly before delivering a swift kick to his arm that held her, smirking when he released and grimaced in pain.

“Bring it on,” she told him, quickly leading Galinda away.

The girls fell drunkenly through the door, collapsing in a heap on Galinda’s bed. It was Galinda who took the initiative, pushing Elphaba onto her back, straddling her abdomen and pressing a hard, passionate kiss onto her lips. Elphaba moaned softly, kissing Galinda back with equal fervour, running her hands up to the top of the long row of buttons on Galinda’s gown. Slowly, so as not to push Galinda too fast, she began to open the buttons, long fingers occasionally stroking the creamy flesh she had exposed. Galinda whimpered and broke the kiss as she felt the dress slip from her shoulders. She sat back on her heels, looking down into Elphaba’s cloudy eyes and allowing her dress to slip down further, exposing the tantalizing swell of her breasts. Elphaba let out an animalistic growl but did not move, still afraid of scaring Galinda. Slowly she lifted a hand to trace Galinda’s collarbone,

“Are you sure about this?” Elphaba asked, looking deep into Galinda’s eyes, yelping when Galinda’s hands roamed down the bodice of her dress. “I’ll take that as yes,” she breathed, leaning up to capture Galinda’s lips once again.

Alright I'm impatient...it's unbetated so please excuse any errors...

Title: Untitled
Author: Ozdust_Princess
Rating: T/PG13
Chapter: 4/?
Subject: musicalverse-ish
Summary: See Chapter 1 -- let the Gelphie begin...
Disclaimer: The characters you recognize are not mine, they originally belonged to L. Frank Baum and are used in the context of the Broadway musical “Wicked” with possible allusions to Gregory Maguire’s “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West”.

Green eyes met blue in silent conversation as both contemplated what their next step would be.

“I’m sorry Elphie,” Galinda whispered, sliding off the bed and running into the bathroom. Elphaba sat in shocked silence, her fingers tracing her lips where only moments ago Galinda’s had rested. After what seemed like hours the bathroom door opened and Galinda walked out. Even in the dim light of the morning Elphaba could tell she’d been crying. “Elphaba please...just go to bed,” Galinda told her with the distinct tone of defeat in her voice.

“Galinda,” Elphaba patted the bed beside her, waiting until the blonde sat. “I know this is weird...”

“Yeah no shit,” Elphaba smirked at the curse, unused to hearing such words coming from the demure blonde’s glossy pink mouth.

“Why don’t we...go...slow...?” Galinda’s head shot up, staring into Elphaba’s eyes.

“Are you...like...really?” she whispered. Elphaba reached out and caressed her cheek,

“Yeah.” Galinda unconsciously pushed her cheek into the emerald hand.

“I’ve never felt like this before...”

“Me either,” Elphaba pressed her lips again to Galinda’s, sighing softly, “But I like it.” Elphaba lay down on the bed, pulling the gorgeous blonde down with her, so that Galinda’s back pressed into her front. Elphaba swept hair away from Galinda’s neck, placing soft kisses on the now bared skin. Galinda mewled softly, shutting her eyes and allowing the fiery sensations to wash over her. Elphaba pulled her closer and rested her chin on her shoulder, “Sleep my pretty.”

“My pretty...” Galinda whispered, a smile gracing her lips.

“Always...”

********************************************************************************************

As the ruby sun broke the horizon, Galinda woke. She blushed when she realized where Elphaba’s hands had drifted in sleep, one splayed on her thigh beneath her nightgown, the other cupping a breast. She shivered when Elphaba’s hand crept higher up her thigh, a slight moan escaping her lips.

“Elphie...” she squeaked, feeling the hand begin to move with more purpose, eliciting another moan from her. Elphaba kissed the bare skin of Galinda’s neck, stopping to inhale the intoxicating scent of her shampoo.

“Good morning,” Elphaba whispered into her ear.

“Very...” Galinda breathed, her muscles tensing as Elphaba’s hands swept over her body.

“You okay?” Elphaba’s hands stilled, her breath hot on Galinda’s ear.

“Yeah it’s still a little....strange, ya know?” Elphaba squeezed her gently,

“I know.”

Galinda rolled over so they lay face to face, their noses just barely touching, “I like waking up like this. I feel so safe...” So loved she added mentally, still afraid to voice such a strong feeling. Elphaba kissed her gently, grunting in surprise when the tiny blonde pushed her onto her back and pressed their bodies together. She felt Galinda smile and took the opportunity to slide her tongue past the pouty lips into the velvet heat of her mouth. Galinda moaned, sending tiny tremors racing up and down Elphaba’s spine, she felt an unusual heat settle in the pit of her stomach, slowly spreading out. Someone knocked on the door and the girls pulled away, secretive smiles passing between them as Elphaba went to answer the door.

“Good morning Master Boq,” Elphaba said as she pulled open the door, hearing a small gasp behind her.

“Good morning Miss Elphaba. I was wondering if Miss Galinda was feeling better this morning?” the Munchkin attempted to peer around Elphaba, catching a glimpse of a flushed Galinda sitting on her bed. “Galinda? You look flushed...are you alright?” Galinda’s hands flew to her burning cheeks, a blush deepening the already crimson stain.

“She has a fever Master Boq. It’s best you don’t come in,” Elphaba told him, shutting the door before he could protest. Galinda motioned for Elphaba to come closer, snuggling into the taller girl when she returned to the bed.

“I don’t like lying Elphie...” she whispered.

“I know...but you know how people would react. We can’t tell them...not yet,” Elphaba kissed her forehead softly and pulled her friend closer, smiling when the blonde head settled on her chest. Elphaba felt a gentle sigh escape Galinda as the girl relaxed, Elphaba’s strong hands sweeping across her back, with just the slightest pressure. “Glin...” she shook the girl slightly as she heard her breathing even out, “Darling we have to get up.” Galinda groaned,

“Noo...I’m too comfy. I refuse to move,” she clung tighter to Elphaba, putting all 95 pounds of her slight frame into keeping her on the bed. Galinda squealed when she felt Elphaba’s long fingers find her waist, tickling just enough to make her scramble away. “No fair,” Galinda pouted. Elphaba kissed her soundly on the mouth,

“No one ever said I played fair,” she whispered wickedly before disappearing into the bathroom, leaving Galinda slack-jawed and cheeks burning yet again.

000000000000000000000000

“Elphie?” Galinda asked, flouncing into a chair next to the fire. Elphaba didn’t look up from her book, but she acknowledged her friend with a non-committal sound. “Elphieeeee...” Galinda whined, “Pay attention!” Elphaba rolled her eyes and shut her book,

“Yes my dearest, what would you like?” Elphaba asked, a hint of sarcasm peppering her words.

“I’m bored,” Galinda complained.

“Why don’t you read something? Or do some homework?” Elphaba suggested, smirking when Galinda’s face scrunched in disgust. “That’s a good look, my pretty, you should keep it.” Galinda leaned around Elphaba and looked into a mirror, bursting into laughter when she saw herself.

“Elphie, let’s go shopping!” Galinda proposed brightly.

“Galinda...” Elphaba began.

“Please Elphie?” Galinda begged, sliding off the chair to kneel next to Elphaba, “Pretty please?” Elphaba sighed,

“Alright fine, but I’m not trying anything on!”

“Yay!” Galinda exclaimed, pulling Elphaba out the door before she could change her mind.

000000000000000

Galinda fairly dragged Elphaba into the first dress boutique they passed.

“Ooh Elphie!” Galinda fairly squealed, her fingers gravitating to a most ostentatious glittery pink dress. “Isn’t it just gorgeous?” Elphaba rolled her eyes, pasting a smile on her face and nodding sweetly. “Don’t mock Elphie it’s unbecoming,” Galinda chided, holding the dress in front of her and peering curiously into the mirror. Something caught Galinda’s eye and she spun around racing to another rack, shoving the pink dress into Elphaba’s hands. Elphaba wrinkled her nose and hung the dress back up before following Galinda across the store. Galinda pulled a deep blue dress off the rack, it was understated but still pretty, “Ooh Elphie this would look just perfect on you!”

“Galinda....” Elphaba started but before she could finish her thought Galinda had shoved her and the dress into a dressing room. Elphaba begrudgingly changed into the dress, smiling when she caught a glimpse of her reflection.

“Elphie are you ready yet?” Galinda’s voice floated through the door. Elphaba sighed and pulled the door open, wincing when Galinda squealed and forced her to spin around. “Oh Elphie you look gorgeous!” Galinda leaned in and pecked Elphaba gently on the lips, pulling back with a deep red blush staining her cheeks. Elphaba twisted around and grabbed the tag, nearly swooning when she saw the price.

“Sweet Lurline Galinda! Do you see how much this costs!?”

“Oh Elphie don’t worry about it! You have to have it!” Galinda shoved her playfully back into the dressing room and tapping her bejewelled shoe on the tile until Elphaba reemerged. “Gimme,” the blonde demanded, holding out a hand for the dress.

“Galinda you can’t...” Elphaba started.

“I can and I will Elphie, now gimme,” Galinda dropped the dress onto the counter and paid the staggering price without batting a perfectly curled eyelash. She pushed the package into Elphaba’s hands and said, “I’m hungry. Let’s go get something to eat.” Elphaba felt like a rag-doll being taken for a walk by a three year old but she consented to the treatment for Galinda’s sake, or so she told herself.

The two girls sat silently in a café nibbling on decadent pastries and sipping hot coffee. At some point Elphaba’s arm wound it’s way around Galinda’s waist, though neither noticed nor cared, too content to sit in the other’s presence.

“Galinda it’s late...we should probably head back.” Elphaba stood from the table, noting Galinda’s hesitancy. “Glin?” watery blue eyes looked up at her and immediately she sat down, “Darling what’s wrong?”

“It’s dark,” came Galinda’s shaky reply, “He might be out there...hiding somewhere...ready to get us.” Crystalline tears slipped down Galinda’s cheeks, Elphaba dried them quickly with a napkin and pulled the girl to her.

“I won’t let him hurt you my sweet,” Elphaba pulled her close, her cheek resting atop Galinda’s mass of blonde curls. “You’re safe darling.” Galinda took a deep, steadying breath and pulled away from Elphaba.

“Okay...I’m ready,” she whispered. They walked from the café, Elphaba’s arm settled comfortably around her friend’s waist. Galinda jumped at every shadow, every sound, on the way back to the dorm, collapsing dramatically into bed when they were finally safe in their room. Elphaba dumped her package on her bed before flopping unceremoniously down beside Galinda. Immediately the blonde girl curled her body against Elphaba, already drifting to sleep.

“Night Elphie.”

“Good night Galinda,” Elphaba replied, running her long fingers through Galinda’s hair.

“Love you,” Galinda whispered back, and Elphaba’s heart stopped.

Galinda rested her head on Elphaba’s shoulder, smiling when she felt a gentle kiss on her temple. Elphaba’s arm snaked around her waist and pulled her closer, resting her head on top of Galinda’s.

“Want to head back?” Elphaba asked, her fingers absently rubbing circles on her friend’s waist.

“Can we stay for a little longer? I feel...safe here.” With you, she added mentally.

“Sure.” Elphaba tapped Galinda’s hip idly. Seeing her emerald fingers against the pink of Galinda’s dress made her laugh. It was such a strange combination.

“Elphaba Thropp, did you just *giggle*?” Galinda asked incredulously, staring up at her friend, mischief in her eyes.

“Well if you say I did, I suppose I did,” Elphaba answered teasingly. “I was just thinking how absurd my hand looked against your pretty pink dress.”

“Don’t be silly, Elphaba—pink goes good with green!” the blonde said.

Elphaba laughed, shaking her head slightly. “If you say so, Glin.”

“What did you just call me?” Galinda asked, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

“Um.” Elphaba cleared her throat awkwardly. “I think I said Glin...sorry.”

“Don’t apologize, Elphie. Glin.” She tested how it sounded. “I like it.”

“I’m glad.” They lapsed into silence, Elphaba’s hand still resting on Galinda’s hip comfortably. A week ago, she would’ve laughed herself sick had anyone suggested that she would ever be so relaxed around her roommate. But a week ago, things had been different. A whole lot different.

Galinda took a deep breath, steadying her nerves and effectively interrupting Elphaba’s thoughts. “Okay...I think I’m ready now.”

Elphaba nodded and slid from the booth, extending her hand to Galinda. The two girls exited the café, Galinda’s grip on Elphaba’s hand tightening as they passed the alley they’d seen Avaric in.

“It’s okay, Galinda,” Elphaba whispered, pulling her friend closer. Despite Galinda’s occasional frights, the pair made it back to their room unscathed.

The remainder of the day was passed mostly in silence, Elphaba reading by the fire, Galinda never more than an arm’s length from her side. As they prepared for bed that night, Elphaba watched Galinda covertly. She was inexplicably drawn to the smaller girl, and that disturbed her a bit. She reasoned it was a protective instinct. Must be.

“Goodnight, Galinda,” Elphaba called softly from her bed.

“G’night, Elphie,” Galinda replied through a yawn.

What seemed like only moments later, Elphaba was awakened by a noise. She sat up slowly, listening intently. A whimper floated from Galinda’s lips as she thrashed about on the bed.

Nightmare, Elphaba thought, climbing out of bed to kneel at her friend’s side.

“Glin...” she whispered softly, “Galinda.” Elphaba placed a hand gently on the girl’s shoulder, jumping when Galinda awoke with a scream. “Galinda! Glin, it’s okay! It was just a dream...I’m here, my sweet,” Elphaba bit her lip at the unintentional endearment, but Galinda seemed not to notice. The tiny blonde threw herself at her friend, sobbing painfully.

“Oh Elphie! It was terrible!” she wailed, clinging to Elphaba as if she was a lifeline.

“Shhh—I’m here, my sweet, you’re safe now,” Elphaba promised, hugging Galinda close. Elphaba climbed into the frilly pink bed, keeping a firm grip on the petite blonde. Elphaba’s emerald fingers ran gently through golden hair; she dropped gentle kisses on the head of curls. When the tears abated, Galinda relaxed against Elphaba, all the energy drained from her small body.

“It was like it happened all over again,” Galinda whispered, feeling Elphaba’s arms tighten around her.

“It was just a dream, darling, he can’t hurt you anymore,” the green girl told her, pressing her lips against the yellow tresses. “No one can.” I won’t let them.

It took a while, and Galinda would occasionally start crying again—Elphaba would whisper soothing things and dry her tears with the bedcovers—, but eventually the two girls drifted to sleep in each other’s arms. Both hoped fervently that the nightmare would not return.

Several hours later, in the wee hours of the morning, a bloodcurdling scream tore through the night, ripping Elphaba from the talons of sleep for the second time that night. She sat up with a jerk, straining to regain her bearings. Her head whipped from side to side; she spotted Galinda curled into a tiny ball against the headboard of the bed. The crashing of thunder came from outside as a storm raged loudly.

“Glin, my sweet, it’s only a storm.”

The girl rolled over to look at her, eyes shining with tears. Elphaba relaxed somewhat, pulling Galinda to her, and pressing her lips to the golden curls Galinda had in such abundance. Each new eruption of thunder drew a frightened squeak from Galinda, sending her burrowing into Elphaba. Gradually the storm dissipated, leaving the two girls enshrouded in silence once again.

Galinda’s breath came in staccato gasps that filled the quiet. She felt Elphaba pull her closer, though she half feared that she would slid right through Elphaba should she try to get closer. She didn’t, though. Gradually her shaking subsided. She felt safe, as though Elphaba’s embrace could protect her from all of the evil in the world. Sighing, Galinda pulled away and wiped her tears, refusing to meet Elphaba’s eyes.

“Galinda?” Elphaba queried cautiously, unused to such shyness from the popular Miss Galinda.

“I must seem such a coward,” the blonde girl whispered, her eyes downcast.

“There’s nothing wrong with being frightened, Glin,” Elphaba said, smoothing the blonde locks off the girl’s face. “Nothing at all,” she whispered, an almost imperceptible hint of longing in her tone. Galinda met the emerald eyes, noting a flicker of something she couldn’t quite decipher.

“Elphie?” she whispered uncertainly, a tiny hand reaching up to push the raven curls away from that sharp green face. It was an innocent action, perfectly harmless in its sincerity. So the kiss that accompanied it was a shock. Elphaba’s eyes flew wide open; she jerked back as if she had been burned.

“What—Galinda—?” Elphaba squeaked, her emerald fingers flying to her lips.

“I’m sorry Elphie! I don’t—I didn’t—oh, damn it all!” The diminutive blonde swore, making Elphaba raise her eyebrows in further surprise and mild amusement.

“Maybe you should go back to your own bed, Elphaba,” Galinda said quietly, her eyes trained on her bedspread. She’d never be able to look Elphaba in the eye again. Never. She half-heartedly resisted Elphaba’s attempt to lift her chin—she didn’t want to, she couldn’t, but she knew didn’t have the strength to fight her roomie off for long. She finally gave in, looking up bleakly. Elphaba was probably furious…probably hated her…was going to yell at her… So she was stunned when, instead of refusal, she felt Elphaba’s lips on hers in a soft, pseudo-chaste kiss.

“What are we doing, Galinda?” The green girl whispered, eyes closed, fingers still beneath Galinda’s chin.

“I don’t know...” Galinda’s voice sank to a near-inaudible murmur. She wasn’t sure if Elphaba could hear her. “But it feels right.”

“Yeah...” She laughed slightly, almost incredulously, eyes opening in wonder. “It does.”

Here's chapter two!

Title: Untitled
Author: Ozdust_Princess
Rating: T/PG13
Subject: musicalverse-ish
Summary: See Chapter 1
Disclaimer: The characters you recognize are not mine, they originally belonged to L. Frank Baum and are used in the context of the Broadway musical “Wicked” with possible allusions to Gregory Maguire’s “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West”.

Elphaba woke disoriented, something was sprawled across her and there was a frightening amount of pink in her immediate vicinity. As she clawed her way from sleep she realized that the something sprawled across her was Galinda, hence the pink. The blonde girl shifted and Elphaba held her breath, how would Galinda react to having slept with her? Silky blonde curls fell across Elphaba’s face, she inhaled the intoxicating scent of vanilla and cherries, deciding that for the moment she would remain with Galinda, after all it wasn’t like she could get up without waking her.

Galinda woke slowly, trying to figure out why her bed was so warm...and cuddly...and...green? The events of the previous night flooded back and she sighed softly, snuggling closer to Elphaba.

“Galinda?” Elphaba asked.

“Yes Elphie?” came the sleepy blonde’s reply.

“Could you move a little to the left, my arm is falling asleep,” Elphaba felt Galinda smile against her as she shifted her weight. “Thanks.”

“You’re welcome,” the two girls fell silent for a moment. “Elphie?” Galinda broke the silence.

“Yes Galinda?”

“Thank you...for last night and everything. It meant a lot,” Galinda’s attitude was gone this morning, replaced by an almost child-like vulnerability.

“You’re welcome Galinda.” She softly pressed her lips to the top of Galinda’s head, pausing just a moment to breathe in the heady scent of her shampoo. Galinda held her breath, unused to such a display of affection from the green girl. The two girls lay silent, neither sure what to say, afraid of breaking the spell of peacefulness that had settled over them. Elphaba ran her fingers absently through Galinda’s golden curls, not really thinking about what she was doing until Galinda let out a small sigh of contentment, causing Elphaba to jerk her hand away.

“Sorry,” the green girl apologised, blushing, if the deepening green could really be called a blush.

“It’s okay Elphie,” the smaller girl replied, not wanting her only source of comfort to retreat back into her shell. A knock at the door startled both girls out of their silent reverie, sending Elphaba leaping from the bed. For a moment neither moved, eyes locked in silent conversation until the knock came again, louder this time.

“Miss Galinda?” Boq’s voice was muffled by the door. Elphaba went to the door, unlocking it and jumping back when the Munchkin came barrelling in. Galinda let out a squeal of terror and raced into the bathroom, locking the door tightly behind her. “Miss Elphaba? Is Miss Galinda alright?” Elphaba wrapped a robe around herself, buying time to decide what to say.

“She’s ill Master Boq, now isn’t a good time,” she lied, showing no trace of deception in her face.

“Oh well it’s just she left the party so suddenly last night. Master Avaric...” a sharp gasp could be heard from the bathroom, Elphaba’s expression hardened.

“Master Avaric what?” Elphaba prompted coldly.

“Well he said that she had had too much to drink and was safely back in her room. I was just worried,” the Munchkin’s eyes were trained on the bathroom as though he was willing it to open.

“Well once Miss Galinda has recovered I am sure you will see her,” Elphaba said, pulling Boq’s attention away from the hiding blonde. “Good day Master Boq,” she said firmly, pulling open the door and locking it once he was gone.

“Elphie?” Galinda’s voice held a tremor Elphaba wasn’t used to hearing from the girl, “Is he gone?” Elphaba approached the bathroom, he mind flashing back to the night’s events.

“Yes Galinda, he’s gone.” The lock clicked open and the blonde girl pulled the door open slowly. Finding Elphaba standing on the other side, she melded her tiny frame into the other girl, noting that there was no hesitation in Elphie’s responsive hug.

“Why am I scared of Boq?” Galinda whispered softly, “It wasn’t him who...” she trailed off, both girls knowing what the end of the sentence was.

“I don’t know Galinda. I suppose after being through something so traumatic with someone you thought you could trust you’ve lost the trust you had in others as well as Avaric.” Galinda stiffened at the mention of his name.

“Except in you Elphie,” Galinda said almost inaudibly.

“So it would seem,” the green girl replied, kissing the top of the blonde’s head once again, feeling the girl smile against her neck. “Come on, what do you say we go get some breakfast at a café?” Galinda nodded,

“I’ll get ready fast, I promise!” Elphaba rolled her eyes, expecting to be waiting at least an hour for Galinda to be ready.

KC IM KC IM KC IM KC IM

Only twenty minutes later Galinda emerged from the bathroom to find Elphaba sitting in front of the fire reading a book. She paused silently a moment, taking in the firelight dancing in silken tendrils across the emerald skin. Elphaba’s face was open, expressive, it was the first time Galinda thought that her friend was really and truly beautiful. She cleared her throat, breaking Elphaba’s concentration. Elphaba looked up and smiled,

“That must be a record Galinda,” she teased. “Something looks different,” Elphaba mused. Galinda’s blonde hair was swept back into a low ponytail and her dress was more understated than usual but still pink of course. Galinda blushed under Elphaba’s intense scrutiny,

“What?”

“Hmm? Oh nothing. Ready to go?”

“Yep!” Galinda replied brightly, linking her arm through Elphaba’s as they exited the room. The two girls crossed the campus without seeing anyone but as the turned up the road to the café Galinda stopped dead in her tracks, her entire body shaking.

“Galinda? What is it?!” Elphaba asked her. The blonde couldn’t form the words so she lifted an arm and pointed up the street to where Avaric and Fiyero stood. Elphaba stiffened, anger coursing through her veins.

“Can we go back Elphie? Please,” Galinda whimpered, but it was too late, the boys had noticed them and were fast approaching. Elphaba turned to face them, pushing Galinda behind her.

“Hello Miss Galinda, Miss Elphaba,” Avaric said, as though nothing was wrong. Elphaba felt Galinda move closer to her, the poor girl was shaking like a leaf.

“Hello,” Elphaba greeted him through gritted teeth, “I’m afraid we don’t have time to talk.” She tried to usher Galinda away but Avaric grabbed her arm roughly and pulled her close.

“Tell anyone and you’re next,” he hissed. Elphaba’s eyes flashed, the deep green turning nearly black. She wrenched her arm from his grasp as a powerful but unseen force shoved him backwards into a garbage ridden alley.

“Touch me or her again and you’ll get more than that,” she told him before turning on her heel and leading Galinda into the nearest café.

Elphaba wove her way through the room to a dark corner with Galinda in tow. She motioned for Galinda to sit down in the booth before sliding in beside her and taking the petrified girl in her arms. Their hearts raced in tandem, Galinda’s tears yet again burning a track down Elphaba’s shoulder. The green girl bit her lip, determined not to let the pain get to her, Galinda was more important at that moment. Finally Galinda pulled away and wiped the tears from her eyes,

“Elphie! Your shoulder!” she touched the seared flesh, “Oh Elphie I’m so sorry!”

“It’s okay Galinda,” Elphaba told her, pushing some stray tendrils of hair behind the other girls ear. “Are you okay?”

“I think so...thank you for that though, I don’t know what I would have done if I was alone.”

“You weren’t alone Galinda, and until this gets sorted out I won’t leave you alone.”

“Promise?” the childish quality was back in Galinda’s voice, Elphaba smiled,

“I promise.”
So I have this up on www.fanfiction.net but I thought I'd share it here! I don't like the title I have on it at ff.net so right now so it shall remain untitled for the moment:

Title: Untitled
Chapter: 1/?
Author: Ozdust_Princess
Rating: T (aka PG 13)
Subject: Leaning more to musicalverse
Summary: I started to feel a little light headed from all the wine so I went for a walk outside. Avaric insisted on coming with me...he said a lady shouldn’t walk alone after dark. At first everything was okay but when I suggested we turn back he refused...when I tried to leave he grabbed my arm and dragged me into the park...

Elphaba crawled into bed, leaning against the headboard and pulling out a book. There was no use trying to sleep until Galinda got back, the blonde would likely stumble in around two and wake her up anyways. She felt like a mother, waiting up for her daughter to return from a party. Sighing Elphaba opened her book, allowing the fantasy land to envelop her. A key scraped in the lock, and Elphaba turned to the clock noting that it was only midnight, Galinda had returned early for once.

Galinda pushed the door open quietly and seeing Elphaba was still up she sprinted daintily across the room, slamming into the bathroom with more force than seemed possible for her slight frame. Elphaba rolled her eyes, rising from her bed and shutting and locking the door to their room. As she walked back to her bed a sound made her pause. Over the thundering water of the shower she could swear she heard someone sobbing. Her better judgement told her to climb back into bed and go to sleep but her curious nature got the better of her and she found herself slowly approaching the bathroom. With each step the sobs got louder finally, when she was just inches from the door she raised a hand to knock. She paused, did she really want to deal with whatever was bothering Galinda? After all, she’d probably just ended up wearing the same dress as someone else, that was probably social suicide in Galinda’s world. Letting out another exasperated sigh Elphaba put an ear to the door, something was really wrong, Galinda’s sobs were anguished, painful to hear. Elphaba knocked,

“Go away,” came Galinda’s teary response. For a moment Elphaba considered doing just that but she figured she’d never get any sleep now so she may as well figure out what was wrong.

“Come on Glinda,” she emphasized the mispronunciation of the name.

“Leave me alone Elphaba!” It wasn’t like the blonde girl to let that go, maybe she hadn’t heard?

“Glinda...” she said louder, placing a hand on the door handle and turning gently, surprised when it gave way. The green girl pushed the door open and was taken aback by the sight that greeted her. Galinda sat on the bathroom floor, her beautiful pink gown torn and soiled, mascara running in delicate rivulets down pale cheeks.

“What do you want Elphaba?” the girl asked bitterly.

“Galinda what happened?” Elphaba’s heart clenched.

“Nothing. Just leave me alone,” Galinda swiped angrily at the tears that trailed down her face. Elphaba knelt on the tile floor in front of her friend, part of her mind wondering when she’d started to care.

“Galinda...” her voice had softened, “please.” Glittering azure eyes met deep emerald and before she knew it Galinda had launched herself into Elphaba, hot tears leaving a stinging track down Elphaba’s shoulder. After a moment’s hesitation the green girl placed her arms awkwardly around the other’s body. After a few silent minutes Galinda pulled away,

“Go to bed Elphaba.” Elphaba sighed and left the bathroom, pulling the door shut behind her, listening to the lock click in place. Her curiosity piqued Elphaba plunked herself down on the edge of Galinda’s bed, waiting for the other girl to emerge.

Nearly half an hour later the bathroom door creaked open and Galinda padded softly across the room, gasping in surprise when she saw Elphaba seated on the pink bed.

“So are you going to tell me what’s wrong or should I beat it out of you?” Elphaba asked lightly, trying to break the tension she felt.

“What do you care?” Galinda asked, standing next to her bed, hands defiantly perched on her hips.

“Galinda...” Elphaba was getting fed up with the other girl’s attitude. Her hands dropped from her hips and her shoulders slumped as she climbed onto the bed.

“It was Avaric,” Galinda told her.

“What was?” Elphaba asked softly.

“Who– who...” Galinda started to cry again, her breath hitching in surprise when an emerald hand closed over her own.

“Tell me what happened Galinda...”

“Promise me you won’t tell?” the blonde asked.

“Who would I tell Galinda? You’re the only one who talks to me.”

“We were at the Ozdust, Avaric, Fiyero, Pfannee, Shen Shen, Boq and I. Avaric kept buying me drinks, we were dancing...having fun. I started to feel a little light headed from all the wine so I went for a walk outside. Avaric insisted on coming with me...he said a lady shouldn’t walk alone after dark. At first everything was okay but when I suggested we turn back he refused...when I tried to leave he grabbed my arm and dragged me into the park.” Galinda stopped, trying to regain her composure. “I shouldn’t have had so much to drink...I shouldn’t have even gone for that stupid walk!”

“Galinda...what...” Elphaba started.

“He said I had been flirting with him all night. He said he needed me. I told him no but he wouldn’t listen. It was my fault, I shouldn’t have dressed so sexy, or flirted so much!” Galinda buried her head in her pillows, sobbing forlornly.

“Oh Galinda...” Elphaba breathed. She waited until the blonde looked at her, “Did he...” Elphaba’s voice dipped to being barely audible, “Did he force you?” Galinda cried harder, turning away from Elphaba and curling into a ball on the pink bedspread. Elphaba surprised both herself and Galinda when she layed down on the bed and wrapped her arms around the petite blonde. Slowly Galinda calmed,

“Thank you,” came her shy whisper. The two sat up facing each other.

“Galinda...you know what happened isn’t your fault right?” Elphaba grasped the other girl’s hands.

“I shouldn’t have drunk so much...my dress was low cut...Who else’s fault could it be?”

“Avaric’s! He forced you!” Elphaba gripped Galinda’s shoulders, “It is not your fault!” Galinda leaned into Elphaba, resting her head on her shoulder, smiling when Elphaba’s arms wrapped around her again. “Get some sleep Galinda,” Elphaba pulled away, moving to get off the bed.

“Elphie?” Galinda’s voice sounded small and fragile, “Would you stay with me?”

“Galinda, my bed is four feet away,” Elphaba smiled.

“Oh...never mind,” the blonde turned over but not fast enough to hide the hurt in her eyes. Elphaba sighed and climbed back into the pink bed,

“It’s gonna be okay Galinda,” she whispered, huffing out a breath when the tiny blonde rolled over and cuddled against her.

“Thanks Elphie.”
<lj:music>It Only Hurts When I Breathe -- Idina Menzel</lj:music>

So clearly I have no clue what I'm doing. This layout looks like crap and I am powerless to fix it ('cause I'm computer illiterate) but whatever. I'm probably gonna post my fanfiction on here (I'm currently writing a Wicked story that's posted on ff.net) but I have no clue how to post it here...Tips? Hints? Anything would be greatly appreciated!

Jess
